Social Worker (Adults’ Services)

We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within Walsall Council’s Adults Transitions & Learning Disability Team based at Goscote, Walsall.

Salary: £29.99 per hour

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults’ Services and be registered with Social Work England.

Main responsibility of this Social Worker position will be:

As part of the adult learning disability team, you will work with individuals living within a variety of settings in order to maximise their independence and life opportunities;

Working within a multi-disciplinary framework, you will be responsible for managing a caseload that may include capacity assessments, completing DOLS applications and attending MDT meetings.

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:

Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults’ Service;
Experience of and a passion to work with individuals who may have a learning disability, physical disability or mental health needs;
Being committed to providing a person centred and strengths-based approach to your work;
Experience of working in Mosaic system.

Please note, due to COVID-19 all work will be carried out remotely for the foreseeable future.
