General Practice Surveyor

Our client Walsall Council are looking for General Practice Surveyor’.

Purpose of job:

  • To support management and development of the Council’s property portfolio regarding disposal and acquisition of properties.
  • Asset reviews to ensure that retained assets are suitable for operational use; meeting the needs of each service area.
  • Contribution to council’s non-operational property portfolio management, therefore, maximising commercial opportunities.

Skills and Experience:

  • Good working knowledge of legislation relating to asset management, furthermore, the ability to form and maintain relationships and professional working.
  • Communication and negotiation with a wide range of stakeholders, managers and partners from other agencies.
  • Extensive experience in public sector; real estate portfolio management, furthermore, significant experience in providing property advice.


  • Degree or Post Graduate Qualification in Property Management, Valuation and Transactions (or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Full professional membership of RICS.
