As a Senior Application Support and Development Specialist the applicant will provide support for ICT applications used by the various business areas of Walsall Council. They will be required to carry out software development activities relating to these Business Applications. They will also provide guidance and leadership to junior members of the team and/or project teams.
Experience in a 3rd line support and development role and familiar with several of the following development technologies:
Visual Studio 2015 or higher; .Net Framework; VB; C#; Model View Controller (MVC); DevOps; Java; XML; SQL; Transact SQL; SQL Server DB admin; Power BI; CRM; and CMS systems.
The successful applicant will be able to work independently dealing with support calls and cooperatively with colleagues to resolve outstanding calls and/or improve software provision.
