Qualified Social Workers – Children’s, Safeguarding and Family Support

Walsall council is looking for 2 QSW’s for the Safeguarding and Family Support team. The successful candidates will manage Child Protection, Children In Need and Court Work.

Successful candidates will have experience and skill working specifically with child in need and child protection. Candidates with the ability to work in a restorative manner, focusing on family’s strengths and court skills are desirable.

Candidates must be 2 years plus post qualified as a minimum, have an enhanced children’s DBS and much also be HCPC registered.

Training will be provided for restorative practice and motivational interviewing.

£19.14 is the PAYE pay rate and £29.93 is the Limited pay rate.

This position is temporary, though there is potential to extend the end/review date once in post.
