Starting Point Recruitment are looking for a project Manager.

Location: Any council premises

SERVICE AREA: Integrated Commissioning

SECTION: Intelligence and Delivery Support

Salary: £18.92 – £21.39 per hour

PURPOSE OF JOB:

The focus of this role is to lead the completion of a roll out of open book accounting – so this requires the successful candidate to be skilled in the following areas:

ABILITIES, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong finance background – financial accounting skills
  • Working with third party providers (providers of service – social care services would be extremely beneficial)
  • The role will work with our adult social care commissioners – who will lead provider discussions in rolling out the open booking accounting exercise – this point will have lead responsibility for completing the exercise utilising a tool already developed – but conducting the analysis working with our finance colleagues

EXPERIENCE:

  • Substantial experience of working within a health & social care environment
  • Experience of leading and delivering successful Business Change projects of medium complexity
  • Significant experience of implementing successful redesign change projects that have secured demonstrable benefits within a medium sized organisation
  • Experience of leading and designing pilot schemes for untried and contentious business change
  • Significant experience of developing and maintaining good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver tangible results.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent through significant project management experience within a Social Care Business Change programme environment.
  • A recognised project management qualification (for example Prince2 Practitioner) and significant equivalent experience in leading and managing complex and contentious change projects.
