We are currently recruiting for an experienced professional with thorough knowledge of domestic abuse legislation and services to develop the Safer Walsall Partnership’s Domestic Abuse Strategy for 2021-24.
Main responsibilities of this job role include:
Developing local authority response to the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and other relevant legislation;
Co-ordinating the Walsall Domestic Abuse Workplace policy and ensure clear links between Domestic Abuse Policy and the local authority’s corporate priorities;
Leading on the development and implementation of a Walsall Domestic Abuse Strategy on behalf of Safer Walsall Partnership;
Providing appropriate and specialist advice, support, information and training to officers, elected members, council departments, individuals and organisations on Domestic Abuse.
Candidates for this position will ideally have the ability to:
Deal with sensitive and complex subjects;
Understand and analyse complex data and translate into actions.
